The Sun Ultra 1 uses Sun's UltraSPARC 64-bit processor with built-in multimedia support. The Ultra 1 was Sun's entry level Sbus based UltraSPARC system. The Ultra 1 is now only available as a refurbished system. The Ultra 60 with a single CPU replaces the Ultra 1.
The Ultra 1 is available in both desktop and server versions. The system utilises a single 167Mhz UltraSPARC Processor. The CPU is fixed to the motherboard and is not therefore upgradeable. Desktop systems provide TurboGX graphics. All models support up to two 2.1Gb internal narrow SCSI disks. The motherboard includes a 10Mb/s UTP port, an AUI port and two serial interfaces.
