The PRIMEPOWER 200F is the successor to the GP7000F. Because of its new SPARC64 GP super-pipelined 64-bit SPARC V9 processors, this system (with up to 8 internal hard disk drives) is ideal for running commercial and scientific applications.
The SPARC64 GP processor delivers more power per clock rate, namely 700 MHz. The hot-swap function makes the 200F system highly reliable and suitable for mission-critical applications.
