Model 2000 is the flagship of the PRIMEPOWER server family with a capacity of 128 processors and symmetrical multi-processing (SMP). The application focus is on server consolidation, data warehousing, CRM and ASP solutions.
The 2000 is the ideal platform for switching from distributed server environments to integrated server environments. Scalable up to 128 SPARC64 processors, the 2000 is also designed for processing large enterprise and scientific applications.
