IBM Engineer

Established, Expanding Midlands based IT Support organisation is looking for IBM engineers.
An opportunity has become available due to our continuing expansion for IBM engineers in the Midlands area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for field service maintainance in the Midlands area of the UK.
They will be expected to have excellent time management skills and be able to work on their own inititiative.
Experience with IBM hardware essential candidate must have at least 2 years field experience and have proven AIX skills.
Experience with ether Sun or HP hardware preferred but not essential.
The Role will involve maintaining IBM equipment in the field.
Mature applicants are welcome to apply. The wage is negotiable depending on experience but preference will be given to candidates having experience on any of the following: - HP 9000, Fujitsu Prime Power, Cisco, Solaris, Network Appliance, Hitachi storage and tape drive technology.

Location: Midlands.
Wage:
£28,000 - £30,000 per annum basic on experience plus OOH and car allowance.
Hours:
37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm
OOH every other week.
Duration: Permanent.
